1. How to make Soil culture decomposer Solution
2. Boil 2 kg jaggery in 10 liters of water till it dissolves completely. Remove any impurities while boiling.
3. Allow boiled mixture to cool down and add it in 190 litres of water. Use a clean plastic drum for mixing.
4. Pour the contents of Soil culture decomposer bottle in plastic drum and mix properly with the help of wooden stick.
5. Cover the drum with cloth or cardboard.
6. Stir the solution twice a day for 5 – 6 days with the help of wooden stick.
7. After 5 – 6 days, the Soil culture decomposer solution is ready to use.
8. Once the solution is ready, use it within 24 hours.
9. Multiplication of prepared solution

Soil culture decomposer can be further multiplied at farm level as follows.

1. Boil 2 kg jaggery in 10 – 15 liters of water till it dissolves completely. Remove any impurities while boiling.
2. Allow boiled mixture to cool down and add it in 170 litres of water. Use a clean plastic drum for mixing.
3. Take 20 liters of prepared Soil culture decomposer solution and mix it properly plastic drum with the help of wooden stick.
4. Cover the drum with cloth or cardboard.
5. Stir the solution twice a day for 5 – 6 days with the help of wooden stick.
6. After 5 – 6 days, the Soil culture decomposer solution is ready to use.
7. Once the solution is ready, use it within 24 hours.
8. Usage Methods of Soil culture decomposer
9. Foliar Spray: Mix prepared Soil culture decomposer solution with water in 1:3 ratio and apply as foliar spray preferably in the morning or evening. Spray at 10 days interval for continued results.
10. Drip Irrigation: Apply 200 litres of prepared Soil culture decomposer solution per acre through drip system. Use at weekly interval for continued results.
11. Ground Irrigation: Apply 200 litres of prepared Soil culture decomposer solution per acre through flood or ground irrigation. Use at weekly interval for continued results.
12. Drenching: Apply 200 litres of prepared Soil culture decomposer solution per acre through drenching in the root zone. Use at weekly interval for continued results.
13. Planting Material Treatment (Sugarcane, Ginger, Turmeric etc.): Dip the planting material for 10 – 15 minutes in the prepared Soil culture decomposer solution before planting. Spread the remaining solution in the field evenly.
14. Seedling Treatment: Dip the seedling roots for 5 minutes in the prepared Soil culture decomposer solution before transplanting. Spread the remaining solution in the field evenly.
15. Seed Treatment: Treat the seed with the prepared Soil culture decomposer Solution @ 25 ml per kg of seed. Dry the seed in shade before sowing.
16. Broadcasting: Mix 200 litres of prepared Soil culture decomposer solution with 1000 kg well decomposed dry compost or top soil and broadcast in the field followed by light irrigation.
17. In Situ Composting of crop residue / organic matter: Spray 200 litres prepared Soil culture decomposer solution on left over organic matter / crop residue on 1 acre of land. Irrigate the field as soon as possible to start decomposition process.
18. Compost Making: Make 20 – 25 cm thick layer of 1 Ton organic waste / raw material / cowdung and wet it with 200 litres of prepared Soil culture decomposer solution. Add another 20 – 25 cm thick layer of raw material and wet it again with 200 litres of prepared Soil culture decomposer solution. Make 2 -3 such layers and maintain 50 – 60% moisture. Turn the pile at weekly interval for 5 – 6 weeks.
19. As a Slurry booster: To enhance quality and efficiency of any type of slurry, mix contents of Soil culture decomposer bottle with other components of slurry to be made for 1 acre. Allow it to mature for 5 – 6 days and apply the slurry in the field.
20. Tree Plantation / Miyawaki Projects: Apply 1 litre prepared Soil culture decomposer solution per plant just after planting and once in year thereafter in monsoon months.
21. Home and Kitchen gardening: Boil 100 g in 1 lit of water. Allow the solution to cool down and mix it with another 9 litres of water. Mix contents of Soil culture decomposer bottle in the water and allow it to mature overnight. Next day use this solution at 1: 5 ratio by mixing with water for watering the plants or for foliar spray. Use at monthly interval for continued results.

14.       Restoration of degraded soils: To improve salt / flood / hailstorm/ chemical affected soils, apply 200 litres of prepared Soil culture decomposer solution per acre through any of the suitable methods mentioned above at weekly intervals
